From Burnout

Spoiler alert: A company-sponsored mindfulness webinar won't fix it. Real recovery requires radical changes.

Phase 1

Admit It

Stop pretending you're 'just tired.' Acknowledge that the system is broken, not you. Take the Burnout Test to put a name to your exhaustion.

Phase 2

Set Boundaries

Delete Slack from your phone. Set an OOO auto-responder that actually means Out Of Office. Say 'no' without a five-paragraph apology.

Phase 3

Radical Rest

Resting is not scrolling TikTok while a podcast plays in the background. It means disconnecting entirely. Sleep. Stare at a wall. Do nothing.

Phase 4

Re-evaluate Work

Are you in the right job? Is the culture toxic? Sometimes the only way to cure burnout is to remove yourself from the fire entirely.
